Basketball

The name Laiser Hill Academy is synonymous with Basket ball. The Basketball team says they are the Kings of the Kenya Secondary Schools Basketball competition. The team has never failed to qualify for the finals. Has been the National Champions and the East African Champions Basketball is played as a competitive game for both girls and boys. The main team which is
developed from the students in the school is trained by specialized coaches and trained to become champions. The game is the school’s identity and culture and is played at school level with all students encouraged to participate and try their hand at the game.
The school has produced many champions who have gone on to play for their Universities and the NBA and for those who have a passion Laiser Hill Basket ball team ‘The Scorpions’ provides a excellent platform to launch their career and enhance their progression in the

Football

The footballers of the school, both Girls and Boys like to say ‘Football is the language of the World’. The Laiser Hill Football team is called ‘The Scorpions’ and football is played at all levels. U11, U12,U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17.

The school team is always represented at the Nationals and usually sail through the County and Reginal Championships. They are yet to get their National Trophy in football. See our football photographs.

Rugby

Rugby is a passion and played at National Levels at Laiser Hill Academy. The school has produced many players who have gone to play for the National teams; Felix Chacha the 2022 Captain for the Kenya National U20 ;David Mwangi; Johnston Olindi who played for the Kenya team in the 2020 Summer Olympics nd also in the Rugby World Cup Sevens a side in Cape Town; Daniel Taabu who also made his debut representing Kenya at the 2020 Summer Olympics a have all played for Laiser Hill Academy and our Alumni. The Laiser Hill Hakkha is powerful and empowering. Laiser Hill is a power house in Rugby.
